A mouthful here and there won't hurt...

On Sunday, I did a lot of cooking.

I cooked breakfast for two, sandwiches for lunch, roast dinner in the evening and food for lunch on Mon and Tues and made sure I had food sorted ready for breakfast.

Not loads by my standards, but it took a lot of time up.

During this I reckon I gained a few pp activity points by defrosting the freezer - what a nightmare job, it reminded why i generally say I'm going to do it then conveniently have to go out that evening :)

But my point was that during that day, i snacked on some fruit, which is good, but also ripped the crust off a slice of bread and had some low fat spread on it, had a spoonful of Ben and Jerry's phish food frozen yogurt, had a handful of frozen chips (don't ask, got into in via a friend and still do it now - i know its so many levels of wrong!!!), I also had a drizzle of cream over my hot chocolate.

And, I didn't point any of it.

When bedtime hits I spend roughly ten minutes checking ww community boards online and completing my tracker and I made the decision to point everything. Luckily I had quite a few points left and was able to make up for any potential damages.

But it does remind me, how a mouthful here and there really needs to be pointed as it can quickly add up to 10+ points without really thinking about it.

And that's the main point, 'without really thinking about it'.

Ultimately, I am thinking about it, I am making a decision to get a spoon and eat some ice-cream and with that I have to make the decision to work out the propoints and record them in my tracker. Its not about embarrassing myself about what, how, when I eat, its just about being honest about where my old eating have really impacted on my life and my health.

So here's to recording those mouthfuls - may they be few but worth it!
